With the good feelings surrounding Kentucky athletics, a little more good news wouldn’t hurt, right?
According to Tipton Edits, 2019 five-star prospect Isaiah Stewart has the Kentucky Wildcats among his five schools he is considering. Stewart is also considering the Duke Blue Devils, Michigan State Spartans, Syracuse Orange and Washington Huskies.
Stewart is also in contact with several Kentucky commitments:
2019 five-star Isaiah Stewart tells @TiptonEdits he was just snap chatting @TyreseMaxey before joining my IG Live. “I’ve been talking to all the commits: Kahlil, Dontaie, Tyrese. They all want me to make that move as well.” @dontaieallen11 @KahlilWhitney

2019 five-star Isaiah Stewart on Kentucky coming in late in his recruitment: “It’s hard not to listen to Coach Cal and all the success he has.”

Stewart, a 6-9 center who plays with a high motor and extreme prejudice around the rim, would give the Cats the coveted big man they need to go along with guards Dontaie Allen, Tyrese Maxey, and Kahlil Whitney in their prized recruiting class.
It had been thought that Stewart had whittled his list of schools to the four previously listed and the Cats not on the radar.
Much of the recent buzz has been around Duke, though Michigan State and Washington have also gotten buzz, while Syracuse doesn’t appear to be a major threat.
But this suggests the Cats are still very much in the mix for the prospect.
With the Cats in the hunt for other five-star guys like Jaden McDaniels and Matthew Hurt, the possibility is there that UK could sign one or maybe two big men and extend the streak of top five recruiting classes in Lexington.
