These past 11 days in UK Athletics have definitely been fun to watch from a fans perspective.
During that 11-day stretch, the Kentucky Basketball team had two very successful wins over two good opponents in the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Louisville Cardinals. Back on 12/22, then-19th ranked Kentucky defeated the time ninth-ranked Tar Heels in the CBS Sports Classic in Chicago, 90-72.
This win came at a good time because Kentucky had just come off a pretty hard loss two games prior to Seton Hall. It also was a small measure of revenge for the 2017 NCAA Tournament loss to North Carolina, especially since Luke Maye was still on the team this season.
One week later, Kentucky faced the Cardinals at Louisville and was able to come away with another victory in pretty good fashion, thanks to a 24-point performance from Kentucky freshman Tyler Herro.
Kentucky won with the final score being 71-58, and Ashton Hagans let everyone know it:

Then there was Tuesday’s clash in the Citrus Bowl, as the Kentucky Football team was able to bring home their first bowl victory since back in the 2008 season, and the first one under head coach Mark Stoops.
Along with that, junior running back Benny Snell broke the all-time rushing record at Kentucky, thus leaving his mark on this university and this program for a lifetime.
If anyone can describe the feelings of how the Big Blue Nation is feeling right about now, it would have to be Mark Stoops:
