The recruitment of B.J. Boston is heating up, and he’ll soon visit the Kentucky Wildcats.

According to Jake Weingarten, Boston will take an unofficial visit to Lexington on the weekend of Feb. 16.

That’s actually when Kentucky hosts the Tennessee Volunteers, who could come to Rupp Arena ranked No. 1 in the nation, so that will be a great atmosphere to bring a big-time recruit to. Kentucky coaches visited him in December.

Boston is a 6-6, 175-pound shooting guard from Norcross, GA. He has shot up in the recruiting rankings for the 2020 class and currently sits at No. 12 in the 247 Sports rankings, No. 15 at ESPN, and No. 8 at Rivals.

Boston is a long, athletic scoring wing with the ability to take the ball to the hoop or knock down threes. He can play the 2 or 3 spots with ease. Among the schools who’ve offered Boston include the Duke Blue Devils, Auburn Tigers, Florida Gators, Ohio State Buckeyes and Alabama Crimson Tide.

Thanks to new NCAA rules allowing high school juniors to take official visits beginning in the fall, Boston has already visited Duke, Alabama and Florida.

Kentucky will at least get an unofficial visit, and that will hopefully lead to an offer and a follow-up visit down the line.
