DeMarcus Cousins is set to make his season debut tonight for the Golden State Warriors against the Los Angeles Clippers.
Boogie is coming off a year-long recovery from a torn achilles that he suffered last January playing for the New Orleans Pelicans, putting him on the shelf for the rest of the season and causing him to miss what would have been his first ever playoffs.
Boogie signed with Golden State back in July, leaving every basketball fan to say a collective “Oh dear God, no,” even though he would not be cleared until January or closer to the All-Star break.
Golden State is sitting at 31-14 on the season after having a rocky start to the season, and they currently sit at first in the Western Conference. Boogie is either going to make this Warriors team really scary, or he could potentially disrupt the chemistry and lead to an adjustment period over the next month.
We’ll see.
Either way, it’s good to see Boogie back in the court where he belongs. You can watch the game tonight at 10:30 PM EST on ESPN.
He's baaaaaaaaaaack!!!!
