The Kentucky women’s basketball team went on the road to Baton Rouge Thursday night, and they will return to Lexington with the victory.

The Wildcats gutted out a tough victory in a game that went back and forth in the fourth quarter. Good shooting gave the Wildcats the edge, despite having 21 turnovers and being outrebounded by 9.

With the game tied at 60 in the final minute, Keke McKinney hit a three-pointer that ultimately won the game for Kentucky. She finished with 6 points.

Maci Morris led the way for Kentucky posting 20 points, 5 rebounds, and 3 steals on almost 60% shooting from the field. As a team, the Cats shot 51% from the floor, including 40% from behind the arc.

It was an impressive road performance for the 16th-ranked Wildcats, who move their record to 16-3 (3-2 in the SEC) on the season. They next take on the Missouri Tigers next Thursday in Memorial Coliseum at 6:30 PM EST.
