Jalen Suggs is a five-star combo guard from Minneapolis, Minnesota. He currently has offers from most top programs, but the 2020 recruit is still expecting them to come from a few more top programs on his list, including the Kentucky Wildcats.

In an interview with Tipton Edits, Suggs said he is still waiting for offers from Kentucky, Duke, and Arizona. “Getting those offers will definitely seal it up for me and kinda the last ones I’m hoping for,” Suggs said.

He spoke openly about his recruitment, saying that Gonzaga and Iowa are currently recruiting him the hardest, although the only two predictions logged on 247 Sports crystal ball are for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

Suggs is the No. 11 player in the 2020 class, according to the 247 Sports composite rankings, and is the top player in the state of Minnesota. The 6’5” guard can run the point, but he is also comfortable playing off of the ball. That should make recruiting pitches a bit easier with his ability to play multiple positions.

He has spent a significant amount of time playing with Team USA, and spoke about the relationships he has formed there.

Some particular relationships Big Blue Nation may be interested in are those with Kentucky targets RJ Hampton, Scottie Barnes, and Jalen Green, all of which hold offers from John Calipari. He says they have discussed committing as a package deal, but he is still waiting on some additional offers.
