Kentucky vs. Penn State Game Thread

The final game of what’s been a memorable season for Kentucky Football.

UK Athletics

It has been a tremendous season to this point full of great memories and prestigious awards for the Kentucky Wildcats.

Today, they are playing in their biggest game of the year as they take on the Penn State Nittany Lions in the Citrus Bowl. The Cats haven’t been in this good of a bowl in a very long time. The Kentucky allotment of tickets have been sold out which means Orlando will be painted blue!

Penn State is the 12th-ranked team in the country and for good reason. They won nine games and nearly beat Ohio State earlier in the season, as James Franklin has been building this program back up since he arrived.

The Cats will have their hands full with Penn State’s running back duo in Miles Sanders and Trace McSorley. They’ve ran for nearly 2,000 yards combined, to go with 20 touchdowns. With Jordan Jones being out, other players DeAndre Square and Chris Oats will have to step up to help stop the run.

It should be an extremely exciting game full of big plays and tight calls. Enjoy!
