Stone Cold Kash Daniel

Kash is a bad, bad man who’s become a force in Kentucky’s defense.

The streak is dead and the Kentucky Wildcats are ready to celebrate.

Since 1986, the Wildcats haven’t been able to beat the Florida Gators, last night that streak ended. A big part of that win was defense, and there’s no one more important to that defense that linebacker Kash Daniel.

The skill, energy, and brute force he brings to that defense cannot be replaced, and that’s been on full display through the first two games.

After Week 2, Daniel leads the SEC with 22 tackles following his 11-tackle outing at Florida. He also get several pressures on Florida quarterback Feleipe Franks, who never was able to find any rhythm as Florida mustered up just 16 points, and they would have had even less if not for Mike Edwards’ dropped pick-six late in the fourth quarter.

The rise of Daniels is a big reason why Kentucky’s defense is playing the best we’ve seen since Mark Stoops arrived in Lexington back in 2013.

After the game, everyone celebrated in their own way, and Kash was no different. Although, his celebration was a bit more exciting than others. He tweeted one of the most epic videos you’ll see all season of his best Stone Cold Steve Austin impersonation that you can check out here:

If this video doesn’t hype you up to be a Wildcat fan this season I don’t know what will.

Number 56 “Kash Money” was attacking that Florida offense all night and had every right to celebrate. Kash is a player we and his teammates all love, and celebrations like this show how much he enjoys pulling out a win with his guys.

After the game, Kash and his teammates dedicated the win to Josh Paschal and John Schlarman, both of whom are battling through health issues. Hopefully throughout the season, we get many more videos like this from our favorite linebacker from the mountains.
