Wildcats get to try out new Call of Duty

It’s also good to see EJ Montgomery is healthy after his back injury.

With Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 set to release on October 12th, it looks like the Kentucky Wildcats Men’s Basketball team got to take a sneak peak on Saturday afternoon.

Seen above is what appears to be most of the basketball roster testing out the new game of the Call of Duty action video game series, being played on the PS4 console.

Joining his team in the sampling was head coach John Calipari, cracking a smile above. He’s probably also happy knowing James Wiseman is still on campus for his official visit.

Judging by Calipari’s wide smile, it looks like he might have been impressed with his team’s practice earlier Saturday morning, which included EJ Montgomery:

Montgomery has been recovering from a back injury that cost him all but one game in the Bahamas, so it’s good to see him practicing with seemingly no restrictions.

With the season less than two months away, the Cats have been grinding away day after day in practice as well as the weight room.

Kentucky’s first appearance in Rupp Arena will be October 12th for Big Blue Madness, just two weeks before a couple of exhibition games against Transylvania University and Indiana University of Pennsylvania.

Kentucky’s first official game will tip off the college season, when they face Duke in Indianapolis.
