Earlier Thursday, we learned about when the Kentucky Wildcats will tip off against the Duke Blue Devils in Game 1 of the 2018-19 season.
Not long after, the school announced another game time for a match-up with a blue-blood program from the Tar Heel state.
Kentucky will clash with the North Carolina Tar Heels in the CBS Sports classic this year, and it will take place at 5:15 PM EST:

The game will come after the UCLA Bruins and Ohio State Buckeyes face off in the earlier game.
For Kentucky, this will be yet another big-time game in what’s become arguably the toughest schedule of any team in college basketball. North Carolina is being projected in the 5-10 range in most preseason polls, while Kentucky has been in the 1-2 range.
These two teams last played in the 2016-17 season, where the Wildcats edged UNC in the CBS Sports Classic. The Tar Heels got revenge with a win in the Elite Eight of the 2017 NCAA Tournament.
Almost all of the players from those teams are gone, but Luke Maye is back for the Tar Heels and is a preseason All-American candidate. UNC also brings in a consensus top-five recruit in Nassir Little along with several returning veterans, so this will be a major test for the Wildcats in late December.
Here is a look back at the last time UK and UNC faced off in the CBS Sports Classic:
