Tyler Ulis is still waiting to find his next NBA home, and he hopes to have one soon with the NBA preseason beginning in three weeks.
Could the Cleveland Cavaliers be where Ulis lands? It sounds like a possibility.
Sources: The Cleveland Cavaliers worked out a number of free agents today, including Tyler Ulis, JaKarr Sampson, Alan Williams and Marcus Georges-Hunt.

This is the first reported workout Ulis has had since being waived by the Phoenix Suns this offseason. Ulis has shown promise throughout his first two NBA seasons, enough to think he’ll become a quality backup at worst, but the Suns were ready to give other guards a chance going into next season while also saving some cash.
Ulis finished the 2017-18 season fifth in total minutes played for Phoenix, but he had a difficult year for a team that ended up with the No. 1 overall pick. He was third in assists per game for the league’s worst assisting team and only 11th in points per game while making just 38.8 percent of his field-goal attempts.
Even so, with a career average of 7.6 points and 4.1 assists per game, expect Ulis to find a home at some point this year if the NBA is Ulis’ only goal. However, if he’s willing to take more money to play somewhere overseas, that could be an option too.
For now, it looks like ulis is set on playing in the NBA this year, so hopefully, he has a new home very soon. A rebuilding team like Cleveland could be a good chance to play a lot this coming season.
