The recruitment of James Wiseman is continuing to heat up, as one of the top big men in the country has recently announced three upcoming in home visits.
Kentucky will be coming in to visit Wiseman on Wednesday, Sept. 12, according to 247’s Evan Daniels. That will be the last of three days of consecutive home visits for Wiseman. Memphis and Penny Hardaway will be in on Monday, Sept. 10. Kansas and Bill Self will follow the next day before Kentucky comes in on the 12th.
The news comes on the heels of Wiseman’s official visit to Lexington this weekend. Daniels reports that Wiseman will be headed to Kentucky’s campus for an official visit beginning Friday morning.
Needless to say, this is going to be a very big week for Kentucky in the recruitment of arguably the best player in 2019.
Wiseman will take a visit to Kansas the weekend of Sept. 28, then a visit to Vanderbilt on the weekend of Oct. 14 and Florida State the weekend of Oct. 25.
It’s long been thought that Wiseman is down to Kentucky and Memphis, but it sounds like he is legitimately listening to other schools as well. The race for Wiseman certainly is far from over.
Be sure to read Daniels’ full report here.
