Saturday's @UKFootball game vs. South Carolina is now SOLD OUT. pic.twitter.com/i8afTHzty5
This is the first sellout for Kentucky Football since 2017 when 62,945 fans attended the Florida game on Sept. 23. Before that game, the most recent sellout was in 2015 vs. Ul-Lafayette in the opener, then Florida two weeks later.
The Big Blue Nation is has bought into this Kentucky football team.
The football team that is now 4-0 and has two quality wins against SEC opponents in Florida and Mississippi State. That should make it easy for most of the remaining home games to be sellouts when it’s all said and done.
UK is indicating that they have indeed done so for this week. The UK ticket office has tweeted that tickets are in limited quantities for this week’s matchup with South Carolina, both for the general public and student section.
You’ll need to act fast to make sure that you secure your spot in Kroger Field for what will be an amazing atmosphere when the Gamecocks come to town as Kentucky tries to improve to 5-0 on the season and 3-0 in the SEC.
If you weren’t at Kroger Field last Saturday night against Mississippi State, you missed out on what I believe was one of the most incredible atmospheres I have ever seen at a Kentucky football game.
Last year when Kentucky hosted the Florida Gators, that atmosphere was electric, but there was just something about this game that was different.
After the game, head coach Mark Stoops gave the crowd a lot of credit because they were loud from start to finish, and I believe that definitely played a role in how the game played out.
If you want to be a part of something special and want to attend the game this weekend against South Carolina, there are several options out there for you. You have Ticketmaster, Stubhub, and Guy on the Corner Tickets among others.
Tickets can range from anywhere from $48 being the least to up to $300+. However, even if you’re in the upper level of Kroger Field, you’ll still have a decent view of the the action, so I highly recommend that you get out and support this team if you can.
