The University of Kentucky is a special school, and a big reason for that is having one of the best fanbases in any sport.
Look no further than Kentucky Football, a program that’s struggled to maintain national relevance for much of our lives, but still has a fanbase as passionate as some of college football’s elite programs.
With such a great school and following, it only makes sense that Kentucky has one of the best radio announcers in the game in Tom Leach. The voice of the Wildcats brings the kind of fire and passion that perfectly represents the Big Blue Nation, and that was on full display Saturday, as Kentucky beat 14th-ranked Mississippi State in one of the program’s best moments in decades.
Now, you can see what it’s like when Leach is doing a wonderful job of expressing the passion of Big Blue Nation through our radios:
"Touchdown Kentucky!"
