The Kentucky Wildcats are 4-0 following their romping of the Mississippi St. Bulldogs.
The Cats defense played a huge role in not letting MSU getting anything going on the offensive end, while the offense did just enough to score four touchdowns on a stout Bulldogs defense, despite having just 300 total yards.
Kentucky’s defense held MSU to just 201 total yards. Let that number sink in for a minute. An offense that’s averaging 50 points per game just got held to seven points and 201 yards.
This was a win we will not soon forget.

Game MVP
While this seems obvious, you could make a good case for Josh Allen, who was a force on defense and made several big plays in this monstrous win. But there’s no question that the MVP goes to one of the best overall players in American: Benjamin Snell Jr.
The all-time Kentucky great gashed one of the best front sevens in college football to the tune of 165 yards and four (!) touchdowns on 25 carries.
There’s really nothing left to say. Snell is an All-American who made a very strong case for the Heisman Trophy tonight. He might not be able to keep pace with guys like Tua Tagovailoa at Alabama, but at the very least, Snell’s currently pace will earn him a spot in New York as a finalist for the award.
Snell also broke the school record tonight for all-time touchdowns, but he was already cemented in Kentucky lore forever. Now, it’s time to get him some national honors and accolades.
