Tyler Ulis joining Golden State Warriors

Ulis gets a chance to continue his NBA career with the NBA champs.

NBA: Golden State Warriors at Phoenix Suns Orlando Ramirez-USA TODAY Sports

Tyler Ulis has found his new home.

The former Kentucky Wildcats guard is joining the Golden State Warriors.

It’s great to see the former Wildcat gets to play with DeMarcus Cousins now for a team that’s just won back-to-back NBA championships.

Ulis, who has been searching for a new home after being waived by the Suns, finished the 2017-18 season fifth in total minutes played for Phoenix, but he had a difficult year for a team that ended up with the No. 1 overall pick.

That helped lead to him being waived this summer, and the only reported workout he got was with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Ulis was also reportedly weighing an offer from the Houston Rockets before picking Golden State.

Uis was the 34th pick in the 2016 NBA Draft and had a solid career thus far, but he’s probably best coming off the bench as a spark off the bench.
