2019 Kentucky Football Schedule Released

The Kentucky Wildcats’ schedule is set for the 2019 college football season.

The SEC has announced the 2019 league schedule, which means we now know the entire 2019 Kentucky Football schedule

The Cats open the year with back-to-back home games, the first being against Toledo in Week 1, followed by Eastern Michigan in Week 2.

As is always the case, Kentucky will have a daunting SEC schedule that includes road matchups with Georgia, Mississippi State and South Carolina. The Cats do get a break with several winnable games at home against Missouri, Arkansas, Florida and Tennessee.

The Cats finish off the regular season with consecutive non-conference matchups, the first being against UT-Martin, then the annual battle with Louisville.

While it’s early, this is a pretty balanced slate for Kentucky. Back to back road games at Mississippi State and South Carolina look tough, but if that’s the most difficult stretch Kentucky will face, you’ll take it.

November has a lot of potential with four very winnable games against Louisville, UT-Martin, Tennessee and at Vanderbilt. This is a month that’s typically been very unkind to Kentucky under Mark Stoops, but that’s a stretch Kentucky could very well go 3-1 or even 4-0 in.

The only game that looks too daunting for Kentucky is at Georgia, but every other game should be winnable in what could be another special year for football in the Bluegrass.
