The Kentucky Wildcats have finalized their matchup with the Utah Utes this coming season.
Kentucky will host Utah in Rupp Arena on Dec. 15 at 5:15 pm EST on ESPN2. The school has previously announced it will face the Utes in Las Vegas during the 2019-20 season on Dec. 18.
Utah has enjoyed a rise to prominence under head coach Larry Krystkowiak, who took over the program in 2011 following two straight years of no postseason. Krystkowiak has since guided Utah to five-straight postseasons, including two trips to the NCAA Tournament.
This past season, Utah went 23-12 and finished as the NIT runner-up. Their last NCAA Tournament berth was in the 2015-16 season.
This will prove to be a quality non-conference challenge for the young Wildcats next season. Utah has won 20-plus games in each of the last five seasons.
Kentucky owns a career record of 9-2 vs. Utah, including a win in the 1998 National Championship.
