NBA superstar and Kentucky Wildcats legend Anthony Davis is available on the market, to sign with a new agent.
Davis has reportedly decided to part ways with Thad Foucher, who had been his agent for the entirety of his NBA career so far. Aside from deals with Nike and Red Bull, Davis does not have any major endorsement deals to his name; and he makes just $11 million on endorsement deals. A player of Davis’ caliber needs to be branded as heavily as possible.
Luckily for Davis, he appears to be on his way to being represented by sports agency’s most notorious figure: Rich Paul.
Rich Paul and Klutch Sports are most famously known for having LeBron James as their biggest client. They also represent four former Kentucky players already: John Wall, Eric Bledsoe, Trey Lyles, and Nerlens Noel. Davis would immediately be side-by-side with LeBron as the agency’s best players; with Rookie of the Year Ben Simmons coming up as well.
Davis is coming off a prolific season, in which he finished in 3rd place in NBA MVP voting. He’s made First Team All NBA three times, led the league in blocks three times, finished top-five in MVP voting twice, all within six seasons of his glorious NBA career. By this time next year, he might earn the league’s largest scale contract ever as well.
Davis is super max eligible next summer with the Pelicans. It will be pretty hard to turn down a $230M+ extension to remain in New Orleans. https://t.co/L5uDhEIAyv

A five-year extension with the New Orleans Pelicans would have Davis like earning close to if not more than $50 million a year for his NBA salary by the end of the deal. A pretty penny that New Orleans wouldn’t think twice about paying for one of the league’s best players.
Then again, the fact that Davis could sign with the agent of LeBron makes you wonder if he could eventually defect to the Lakers. Can you even begin to imagine a team with LeBron and The Brow?
Mercy.
