The Kentucky Wildcats are getting set to leave for their tip to the Bahamas.
The team will return to the Atlantis on Paradise Island beginning Monday for a four-game, eight-day trip from Aug. 6-13. They will train on the island and play four professional teams during a five-day period.
Needless to say, the next week is going to be a fun one for UK fans as they get an early look at what the 2018-19 version of Kentucky Basketball looks like.
Ahead of the trip, UK has been posting more practice highlights that are only getting fans more excited and anxious for the Bahamas games to begin:

It’s really nice to see PJ Washington continues to improve his offense away from the basket. If he can consistently knock down these short and mid-range jumpers, this offense is going to be hard for any team to defend. How well he does in this regard will be one of the more intriguing things to watch this week.
Sophomore point guard Quade Green and sophomore center Nick Richards also talked about UK’s preparation for the Bahamas and how they’re becoming leaders for this team:
It’s been a long but fun last couple of weeks getting ready for our trip to the #BigBlueBahamas. Next stop is paradise to play a little ball and, as @Q_Green1 said, swim with the sharks. pic.twitter.com/gJ5SIh2yRP

Sophomore @iamnickrichards likes the competiviness of practice, learning from a seasoned-veteran in @2ReidTravis2 and is looking forward to a little bit of fun in the Bahamas. #DreamBig #All40 pic.twitter.com/vbgooLy8WV
