UK Football: Sights and sounds from Fan Day and open practice

An eventful day for players, coaches and fans.

Jason Marcum - Sea of Blue

Today is the second day of fall camp for Kentucky, but it’s also fan day, so it’s a lively day for the Wildcats football team.

Here’s a look at all that’s happening around the practice facilities today.

You can see Terry Wilson throwing there, and you can see him and Gunnar Hoak throwing together here:

These two are the top candidates in the quarterback battle, and it’s likely that they’ll both get some playing time early in the year to determine who will be the guy for the majority of the season.

There appears to have been a great turnout for the fan meet and greet, especially for star running back Benny Snell:

Snell was also the man that everyone was keeping an eye on during practice.

Luke Klausing, the 11-year-old wide receiver battling cystic fibrosis who Kentucky signed earlier this week, also signed autographs.

Looks like we’ll get some really cool aerial footage of this prac— ... or not.

The Wildcats open the season exactly four weeks from today with their opening game against Central Michigan.
