Mark Stoops opened media day on a somber note as he broke the news that defensive lineman Josh Paschal’s foot issue had been diagnosed as malignant melanoma.
Unfortunately cancer is an unwanted part of most of our lives. My grandmother and aunt passed away due to cancer. My mother is a breast cancer survivor. Chances are I will have to deal with it at some point in my life.
The youth of Paschal makes this even harder to fathom. The type of cancer that he has usually afflicts those of more of an advanced age.
All of BBN has wrapped Paschal and the team in prayer. I am certain his teammates will rally around him and provide all of the positive energy he needs.
Keep praying for Paschal. Keep praying for those in your life that have been affected by this disease. Pray for a cure.
