Thursday Quickies: Zion Impresses Edition

Zion Williamson proved he’s a freak of nature.

NCAA Basketball: Preseason-Duke at Ryerson University Dan Hamilton-USA TODAY Sports

In case you hadn’t noticed, Zion Williamson is good.

Like, really, really good.

Comments can (and have) been made about his fundamental skills, but there’s absolutely no denying that Williamson is a freak of nature athlete. And he’s doing all that with a 285-pound frame.

Williamson wound up scoring 29 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. He also hit three 3-pointers, and Duke beat Ryerson 86-67 last night. Regardless of whether Kentucky ends up better off without him or not, Duke got a good one.
