The Kentucky Wildcats looked like a national title favorite during their four-game Bahamas trip, and Tyler Herro was a big reason why.
The freshman guard from Wisconsin was Kentucky’s lowest-ranked recruit in the 2018 class, as some rankings had him barely in the top 35.
Yeah, there aren’t 30 players better than Herro, and he proved that in a big way with what he did against four teams with pro hoopsters.
Herro finished the trip hitting 23/40 shots for an average of 17.3 points per game, the highest average of any Kentucky player. He also hit all 15 of his free throws and dished out seven assists.
