The Kentucky Wildcats have scored an offensive Yahtzee in the Class of 2019.
It comes in the form of DeMarcus Harris, who committed to UK on the 4th of July.
“I’m blessed and honored to say I will be going to the University of Kentucky,” Harris told TCPalm.com. “When I went there it just felt like I was supposed to be there. They showed a bunch of love. The coaches were very inviting and real. It’s not like they were trying to just sell me or me or anything like that.”
The 6-2, 170-pound Harris had 43 catches for 1,001 yards and 11 scores in 2017. He is a three-star prospect at 247 Sports and the 150th-best wide receiver in the Class of 2019. Rivals and ESPN have not given him an evaluation yet.
Harris, who hails from Vero Beach High School in Florida, picked UK over the Syracuse Orange and Indiana Hoosiers. He also held offers from the Boston College Eagles, Cincinnati Bearcats, Kansas Jayhawks and Purdue Boilermakers among others.
