UK Basketball target Kofi Cockburn joins Cole Anthony at Oak Hill; Keion Brooks may go prep route too

Could we see a team of UK targets Kofi Cockburn, Cole Anthony and Keion Brooks?

Kentucky target Cole Anthony will have a new teammate who could also end up being a big-time target in Kofi Cockburn.

Cockburn is transferring to Oak Hill Academy from Christ the King Regional in Middle Village, New York. He’ll play alongside Anthony for one of the top prep schools in the country (Keldon Johnson went there as well).

Cockburn is a four-star/five-star center who’s ranked the No. 27 player on the 247 Sports Composite. He’s a 6-10 center who has 30 offers. Kentucky hasn’t offered yet, but they haven’t been cut from his recruitment yet either.

Anthony is also moving to Oak Hill, as the five-star combo guard formerly attended Archbishop Molloy in New York. Anthony is the No. 3 player in the 2019 class on the 247 Sports Composite.

Kentucky hasn’t yet offered Anthony, but they’re thought to be in good shape for him should they end up extending an offer.

But Anthony and Cockburn may not be the only two potential Kentucky targets heading to prep school. Keion Brooks Jr. is considering changing schools for his senior year as well.

The five-star small forward is currently enrolled at North Side in Fort Wayne, Indiana. According to the Journal Gazette, Brooks is considering a move, and he has talked to Oak Hill, in addition to other prep schools, like Montverde Academy.

The three all playing together would be a huge potential advantage for Calipari. If he can get one commit from the three, that one would likely be in the other two’s ears about also committing to Kentucky.
