Kentucky Basketball: What to expect from the 2018-19 Wildcats

The 2018-19 Kentucky Wildcats already looked primed to have a special season.

With the summer recruiting circuit winding down there is always a chance someone reclassifies that UK could pursue, but for now, expect the current roster to be what UK has in Game 1 of the 2018-19 college basketball season.

The Cats will get a big test right from the get go as they face the Duke Blue Devils in the Champions Classic. Thankfully, we will get to see the Cats in action plenty of times before that, including a four-game slate in the Bahamas.

Ahead of UK making the trip to their summer paradise, we are taking a look at what to expect from each scholarship player going into the new season. That includes both returning veterans and incoming freshman, plus a grad transfer big in Reid Travis.
