Wednesday Quickies: Nike Peach Jam Edition

Future Wildcats will be in action tonight and throughout the week, while Kevin Knox is a rising star.

Good morning.

Tonight, the Nike Peach Jam tips off in North Augusta, where many of the nation’s top high school hoopsters will be in action.

The action begins with a furious bang tonight when Tyrese Maxey (Houston Hoops) and Cole Anthony (PSA Cardinals) square off, followed by James Wiseman and DJ Jeffries (Bluff City Legends) vs Vernon Carey (Nike Team Florida) later in the evening.

This is going to be a fun week.

Registration for 2018 John Calipari Draft Academy Open - UK
Young UK fans will have another chance to see UK's 2018 NBA Draft class in person during this year's 2018 John Calipari Draft Academy, which will be held Aug. 1 and 2 at the Seaton Center and Johnson Center. Scholarship opportunities for children of non-salary University of Kentucky employees to attend the camp are available.

The younger brother of Anthony Booker is a top recruit for the class of 2021.
"A lot of schools know about me from recruiting my brother (2019 defensive lineman Anthony "Tank" Booker), and I have talked to both Kentucky and Cincinnati already," he noted. "I also have a lot of teammates that are being recruited, so college coaches know the talent we have at Winton Woods."
