Assistant basketball coach Joel Justus is headed to Argentina to recruit today. He’ll be looking at members of the USA U17 team, which features two players that Kentucky has offered scholarships to: Vernon Carey Jr. (2019) and Scottie Barnes (2020). The team also includes a few 2020 guys that Kentucky has shown interest in but hasn’t offered yet: Jeremy Roach, R.J. Hampton and Jalen Green.
Justus has made these overseas trips before, and even used a trip to Spain to help nab Immanuel Quickley last year.
