The Kentucky Wildcats are back on the board in 2019 with another new pledge.
After landing Tra Wilkins, Taures Payne and Jay Ward last week, UK then scored a pledge from Damontae Crumes on Sunday, according to Justin Rowland. Crumes was previously committed to the Louisville Cardinals, so this is a major in-state win for Mark Stoops.
Crumes, who hails from Butler Traditional High School in Louisville, also holds offers from the Michigan State Spartans, Michigan Wolverines, Oregon Ducks and Pittsburgh Panthers among others.
The 6-1, 165-pound wide receiver is ranked 636th overall in 2019 and is the 10th-best prospect from the state of Kentucky. UK recruiting coordinator Vince Marrow is listed as the lead recruiter.
With four additions since last wee, UK now has 11 commitments in the 2019 class, including Crumes, Jay Ward, Taures Payne, Tra Wilkins, Moses Douglass, KD McDaniel, Nik Scalzo, Jake Pope, Jalen Geiger, Eli Cox and Marquez Bembry.
