NBA: Playoffs-Cleveland Cavaliers at Toronto Raptors Tom Szczerbowski-USA TODAY Sports

When the Cleveland Cavaliers were in a tight game seven with the Indiana Pacers, things seemed bleak for the Cavs. Did anyone actually expect them to lose in the first round? No, but with the Toronto Raptors having the regular season they did and Scary Terry Rozier leading the Boston Celtics past the Milwaukee Bucks, it looked as though the Cavaliers might actually miss the NBA Finals.

But I guess we say that every year. and every year we end up here: The Cavs are now up 2-0 on the Raptors, and LeBron James is driving the tank that’s rolling over the 6.

King James dropped 43 points, dished 14 assists and grabbed eight rebounds in the game two win. He’s averaging and absurd stat line of 33.4/8.4/10.1 this postseason, and he’s scored 40+ four times in nine games.

If this continues, James will hit the NBA Finals for the eighth straight season. Early exits just aren’t his thing.
