Football season is getting closer, and that became more evident as the kickoff times and networks for the Kentucky Wildcats’ first three games were recently announced.

Kentucky opens the season with a home game against the Central Michigan Chippewas, coming off of an 8-5 season. That game will kick off at 3:30 p.m. on Sept. 1 on ESPNU.

The next week, Kentucky has their first conference game as they travel to the Swamp on Sept. 8 to take on Florida and new head coach Dan Mullen. That game will be under the lights in Gainesville with kickoff at 7:30 p.m. and televised on the SEC Network.

The Wildcats are back at Kroger Field the next week, hosting Murray State at noon on Sept. 15. That game will be televised on the SEC Network Alternate channel.

College football officially starts on Saturday, Aug. 25 with a smaller slate of games that day and then the following Thursday and Friday before the big opening Saturday at the beginning of September.

Go ahead and plan accordingly.
