We’re just over 24 hours until the Kentucky Wildcats learn who will stay in school and who will leave for the NBA Draft.
PJ Washington, Jarred Vanderbilt and Wenyen Gabriel are all still testing the waters, and it looks like all three could wait until the deadline to withdraw from the draft to make their decisions.
All three could use at least one more season of college basketball, but for various reasons, all three may wind up beginning their professional careers this year.
Problem is, all three would likely come up short on making it to the NBA for the 2018-19 season. While one or more of them could end up on a roster, they may be one of those final guys to make the roster that wind up spending most of their rookie seasons in the G-League.
That’s why ESPN personality Dick Vitale is telling all three players they should return to UK.
.@PJWashington @JVando & @WenyenGabriel / All 3 should realize playing for BBN a better option than G League / go to @NBA if 1st rd / they r not 1st rounders @KentuckyMBB @johnclayiv @KySportsRadio @KyleTucker_SEC

I’m not even sure Gabriel would make the G-League if he comes out this year, as an overseas career seems more likely if he’s ready to be a pro now.
And while it’s nice to think about, I highly doubt all three players will return too school. In that scenario, it’s very likely one of them would end up having a reduced role next season that ends up dropping their NBA stock further.
None of the three have particularly good stock right now, but for at least one of them, it may be enough to jump to the pros.
