The guys and gals at 247 Sports have updated their Class of 2019 recruiting rankings, where the Kentucky Wildcats already have three pledges.
While Ashton Hagans is expected to move into the 2018 class, he’s still a 2019 recruit who’s ranked No. 7 overall, making him the highest-ranked UK commit.
Tyrese Maxey moved up to the No. 14 ranking. Maxey just committed to UK last week, and he’s been a stud on the Nike EYBL circuit thus far.
Fellow UK pledge D.J. Jeffries actually took a big dip, falling down to No. 41, a 14-spot drop.
Long-time UK target James Wisman retained his No. 1 ranking. It continues to look like a UK vs Memphis battle for the best 2019 has to offer, though Cole Anthony is closing in now that he’s up to the No. 2 spot.
UK target Vernon Carey fell down a spot to No. 3. He’s still an elite prospect that UK would love to have, and they’re in better shape for him than many realize.
Another strong UK target in 2019 is Keion Brooks, who was one of the biggest risers in the new rankings. He’s now checking in at No. 9 overall. It’s shaping up to be a UK vs Indiana battle for Brooks.
Here are some highlights of the UK commits in action:
