NBA: Phoenix Suns at Atlanta Hawks Jason Getz-USA TODAY Sports

There probably aren’t many people happier than Devin Booker today.

The former Kentucky Wildcat and current Phoenix Suns star is going to have a No. 1 draft pick alongside him next year. Maybe now when he scores 70 points the Suns won’t still get handed a loss.

Yesterday’s NBA Draft lottery revealed to us that the Suns had the No. 1 pick. Other things of note: The Los Angeles Clippers have consecutive picks at No. 12 and No. 13 and they could really use a pair like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Kevin Knox. Also, the Philadelphia 76ers can keep trusting the process as the Los Angeles Lakers landed them the No. 10 pick, and the Cleveland Cavaliers get the Brooklyn Nets’ No. 8 pick (maybe they’ll get LeBron James some of that help everyone says he needs).
