NHL: Stanley Cup Playoffs-Los Angeles Kings at Vegas Golden Knights Stephen R. Sylvanie-USA TODAY Sports

If you’re big into sports betting, yesterday was a good day. The U.S. Supreme Court ruled that the federal law that prohibited sports gambling was unconstitutional, and U.S. states are now allowed to make sports gambling legal or illegal themselves within their borders.

This is an exciting time for the sports world. Will Las Vegas thrive even more? Will there be more Pete Rose scandals? Will Rose now be allowed in the Baseball Hall of Fame?

One thing’s for sure: Kentucky is likely to move to make sports gambling illegal, thus crushing our excitement.
