As expected, Keontra Smith is no longer a Wildcat.
On Sunday, Smith announced his commitment from UK and subsequent pledge to Miami.

The four-star safety committed to Kentucky in June 2017, but recently, all of the momentum has been toward Smith flipping to the Hurricanes.
Smith, ranked as the 13th safety in the class according to 247 Sports, has visited Miami multiple times, and The U is close to his high school of Chaminade-Madonna Prep. He received the Miami offer a couple months ago and called it a “gamechanger.”
It’s a tough break for UK and Mark Stoops, as Smith is a very talented prospect that could make an impact as soon as he’s on campus. It helps soften the blow that UK has a commitment from another highly-touted 2019 safety in Moses Douglass.
UK now has just three pledges in 2019, including three-star lineman Eli Cox and three-star linebacker KD McDaniel.
