Happy Sunday, Big Blue Nation!

My apologies for the later than normal Quickies but it’s Mother’s Day and I’ve been showering my wife with presents and fixing her breakfast.

To all the Mother’s reading this, thank you. Thank you for being there for your children and making us strive to be the best.

UNC no longer pursuing Sacha Killeya-Jones | Inside Carolina- It seemed like a perfect fit for SKJ. He’s from Chapel Hill and North Carolina was one of his final schools. But the Tar Heels are moving on from the former Kentucky forward. He will set up visits with NC State and Wake Forest.

High praise for Jarred Vanderbilt from De’Aaron Fox | Cats Pause- Fox and Vanderbilt are both from Texas and both rock Kentucky blue. Fox praises Vanderbilt for being the best rebounder he’s ever seen. “For him, once he gets healthy … he’s the best rebounder I’ve ever seen. He can really handle the ball, he can play point guard if you really need him to. But he can go get the rebound and push the ball down the floor with anybody.”

Breakdown of remaining NBA Playoff teams | CBS- The four remaining teams have something in common: they all shoot well from beyond the arc. The playing field is more level than it has been in regards to the Warriors but they still have the best overall team. Unfortunately.

Please come to Kentucky.

Brad Stevens had one stipulation before taking Celtics job | Yahoo!- Tanking was not ever going to be a part of the deal for Stevens. He wanted to win and win right away. That’s his Process.

Infinity War second fastest to $500 million | Variety- The only movie to beat it is The Force Awakens.
