The Spartans finished at the top of the Southern Conference last year, with an overall record of 27-8.
They reached the NCAA Tournament as a 13 seed, and nearly upset 4 seed Gonzaga in the first round, falling by a score of 68-64.
In head coach Wes Miller’s first five seasons at the helm of the Spartans program, they never had a season better than .500 but they have gone 52-18 over the last two seasons.
They look to be returning four of their top five scorers from next season, making this a game Kentucky will have to be on high alert for in order to avoid a potential upset.
With this game placed, the Wildcats non-conference schedule is one step closer to completion. As the video shows, games against Duke, UNC, Seton Hall, and Monmouth have already been confirmed.
