Kevin Knox leaning towards NBA Draft, per reports

Kevin Knox has strongly considered staying at UK, but the NBA buzz continues to grow as a decision inches closer.

Has all the hype been built for nothing?

With Kevin Knox’s decision looming today, Rivals analyst Clint Jackson has heard from people in the “NBA industry” that Knox will sign an agent and declare for the NBA Draft.

A Sea of Blue is also hearing that Knox heading for the NBA is the likely choice.

Knox’s father, Kevin Knox Sr., has been playing this week up as a huge decision, saying that Knox is genuinely torn, and that there’s some real consideration being put into him staying at Kentucky for another year. He even said the decision could be made on ESPN, according to SEC Country.

Knox led the Wildcats in scoring this year and his return would make for a stacked UK roster in 2018-19. But he’s almost a guaranteed lottery selection, and that’d be hard for him to pass up, regardless of the strength of the 2019 draft class.

At the end of the day, UK fans should be happy and supportive of whatever decision Knox makes. He shocked everyone by picking UK and having a fun year in Lexington.

Imagine this past season without Knox at UK and instead at Duke.

While we wait for a decision from Knox, check out some fresh highlights from his memorable season in Lexington, which is probably going to end up being his lone one:
