POLL: What will Kevin Knox do?

Will he go or will he stay?

NCAA Basketball: Kentucky at Texas A&M C. Morgan Engel-USA TODAY Sports

Friday is expected to be the day. The five-star recruit, projected lottery pick and Kentucky’s leading scorer, Kevin Knox, will announce his decision to go the the NBA Draft or stay at Kentucky for a sophomore season.

His decision will potentially change the college basketball landscape next year. One of the highest-touted recruits coming out of high school, Knox could be the leader of another star-studded John Calipari team.

Whatever decision he makes, it will be final, according to his father, Kevin Knox Sr.

“If Kevin goes, he is going,” Knox Sr. said in an interview with the Tampa Bay Times. “If he stays, he stays. We’re not exploring options. This is it.”

If Knox returns, he’d be apart of a star-studded wing tandem featuring himself and UK signee Keldon Johnson. He’d also be a veteran as far as Calipari’s teams go, giving him a chance to be a true leader. And on top of that, a weak 2019 draft class would essentially guarantee that he go in the early part of the 2019 lotter, if he succeeds in his sophomore season.

If Knox leaves, he most likely gets drafted at the back of the 2018 lottery, makes his guaranteed millions and hits the league this year.

It’s hard to go wrong, but Knox will do what he feels is best for him. What do you think Knox will do?
