The 2018 NBA Draft has concluded, and it was another great night for the Kentucky Wildcats.
Five different Cats were part of this year’s draft class, and four of them heard their names called on Draft Night, the highest of which being Kevin Knox, who went No. 9 overall to the New York Knicks.
Not far behind was Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who was taken No. 11 overall by the Charlotte Hornets before being traded to the Los Angeles Clippers.
Then came Jarred Vanderbilt who went No. 41 overall to the Denver Nuggets in Round 2.
To cap off the draft, Hamidou Diallo was selected by the Brooklyn Nets, only to be traded to the Charlotte Hornets and then later deal to the Oklahoma City Thunder.
And last but certainly not least, Wenyen Gabriel agreed to join the Sacramento Kings’ summer league team after going undrafted.
