Calipari recovers from surgery, prepares to hit the road again.

John Calipari was laid up in the hospital with surgery on Tuesday, and has said he’ll likely miss recruiting this weekend.

The surgery was minor, but it’s forcing Calipari to pump the brakes on an intensive recruiting season. He took 13 recruiting visits in 13 days from early to mid April, which included four two-a-day visits.

He’ll have his nose to the grindstone once again once he recovers.
