Quickies: Fixing College Basketball Edition

The NCAA’s Commission on College Basketball will announce its recommendations tomorrow.

The NCAA FBI scandal involving almost every successful college basketball program in existence caused NCAA President Mark Emmert to realize that his organization is actually terrible at policing itself, which led to the creation of the Commission on College Basketball. Headed by Condoleezza Rice, that commission is set to give its recommendations on how to fix college basketball today.

Will it actually make the right changes, such as implementing the Olympic model, allowing players to secure representation, or allowing undrafted players to return to college? Probably not, but I’m excited to see the outcome of this either way.
