The odds to win the 2019 national championship are already out.
The Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook has unveiled their odds on who will win it all next season. Kentucky came in with a tie for the second-best odds to cut down the nets, joining Villanova and Kansas at 8-1 odds.
We don’t even know who UK will return yet, but judging by these odds, I’d say the oddsmakers are expecting at least PJ Washington, Jarred Vanderbilt and Wenyen Gabriel to return.
Kevin Knox will likely test the NBA Draft waters and probably will leave, but if he returns, Kentucky would have a great argument to be the odds-on favorite next season.
In terms of the SEC, Auburn comes in at 30-1 odds, followed by Tennessee (40-1) and Florida (40-1).
Duke leads the way with 5-1 odds. The Blue Devils are largely the favorite due to incoming elite recruits Cam Reddish, RJ Barrett and Zion Williamson, though they’re also set to lose most, if not their entire starting lineup from this past season.
Here’s a look at the teams with the best odds to win it all next season:
- Duke Blue Devils – 5/1
- Villanova Wildcats – 8/1
- Kansas Jayhawks – 8/1
