Quickies: Michigan vs. Villanova Edition

The national championship stage is set

NCAA Basketball: Final Four-Villanova vs Kansas Bob Donnan-USA TODAY Sports

The Michigan Wolverines and Villanova Wildcats will meet tonight for the national championship. The two have survived March’s utter insanity this year, and the result is a one seed vs. a three seed, which isn’t at all symbolic of the kind of tournament this has been.

Villanova is the heavy favorite on ESPN’s Basketball Power Index. It gives the Wildcats a 79.8 percent chance to win. Villanova is also favored in the spread by 6.5 points.

Mo Wagner is the player to wath for Michigan. He’s leading the team in points and rebounding averages. On the other side, Jalen Brunson is the man to watch, as he leads Villanova in points and assists.

The game tips off at 9:20 p.m. ET on TBS.
