Two top 2019 recruits are planning on making their decisions this fall, and Kentucky seems to be squarely in the mix.
Scottie Lewis and Bryan Antoine, both of whom are ranked in the top 10 of the class by most recruiting services, will likely be making decisions before their senior seasons, according to Adam Zagoria.
“They will be taking official visits in August/September and hope to have a final decision prior to the start of their senior year of high school basketball in November,” Team Rio director Brian Klatsky told Zagoria.
Kentucky has had in-home visits with both Lewis and Antoine recently, who could end up playing together in college, though it is not a certainty. One or both players will probably visit UK at some point.
Lewis and Antoine play on the same AAU team, as well as the same high school team, and have spoke in the past about the possibility of playing together in college.
Villanova, Florida, Duke and St. John’s are also interested in the duo.
Kentucky is expected to be in Dallas this weekend to watch them compete with Team Rio as well.
Landing both Lewis and Antoine would be huge for Kentucky in the 2019 class, as they are not only very talented, but have chemistry playing together.
Expect to see more news in their recruitment unfold in the coming months.
