ESPN released their updated recruiting rankings for the Class of 2018, and four future Kentucky Wildcats cracked the top 30 of the new rankings.

The group of Wildcats is led by seventh-ranked Keldon Johnson and 14th-ranked E.J. Montgomery.

Point guard Immanuel Quickley comes in at 23rd in the country, and shooting guard Tyler Herro comes in at 28th.

The new rankings place Kentucky second in the 2018 class rankings behind Duke, who have the top three players in the class as well as 17th ranked Tre Jones, ranked as the top point guard in the 2018 class.

The rankings do not include potential reclassifications such as Ashton Hagans or Tyrese Maxey. If either (or both) of those 2019 recruits were to reclassify, the rankings would be redone. It is unclear where Maxey or Hagans would land in the 2018 rankings if they were to reclassify.

On Twitter, ESPN’s Paul Biancardi ranked the Class of 2018 in particular categories. Tyler Herro was third on Biancardi’s list of best shooters in the class, and Keldon Johnson was fifth on the best bucket-getters list.

Kentucky’s class probably isn’t finished yet, so it will be interesting to see how the class unfolds in the next month or so. Ashton Hagans, Tyrese Maxey and Jalen Lecque are all considering a jump into the 2018 class.
