Kentucky vs Florida Game Thread

No. 23 Kentucky will take on the Florida Gators to close out the season today. The Gators will come into the game 19-11 on the season. Florida is just 2-3 in its last five, but has won back-to-back against the Auburn Tigers and the Alabama Crimson Tide. The Gators are favored by four points and have a 65.8 percent chance to win, according to ESPN’s Basketball Power Index.

UK is looking to close out the season with a five-game winning streak. The Wildcats hit rock bottom when they dropped four straight, but they’ve put it behind them and they’ve yet to look back. A win over Florida on the road would be big for the Cats’ regular season resume as they prepare for the NCAA Tournament. It would also give them a lot of momentum going into the SEC Tournament with a chance to make some noise.
