Quickies: KAT Goes for 56 Edition

Karl-Anthony Towns set a Timberwolves scoring record.

Karl-Anthony Towns was in peak form last night. The former Wildcat scored a career-high 56 points, which is also a Minnesota Timberwolves franchise record. Towns also had 15 rebounds and four assists, and made six 3-pointers.

Towns has bee exceptional, and continues to look like one of the next great big men in the NBA. He has the Timberwolves hanging onto a playoff spot, as they’re currently in eighth place in the Western Conference.
